Renée Etokakpan is a Project Management for Construction graduate from UCL who has been awarded the Derwent London Prize (2021), the Bartlett Faculty Medal and Prize (2021) and a 1st Class Honours in recognition of her outstanding academic performance, remarkable dissertation, and dedication to fostering a stronger academic community. Her Project Management experience is varied, having worked to build and support high performing teams in Publishing, Pharmaceuticals, E-commerce and Academic Research. Renée is primarily motivated by a passion for learning and building community, as evidenced through her registered charity, Vi Editions. In 2019, she played a leading role in co-founding a publishing house that aims to uplift the voices of traditionally marginalised creatives and writers. Similarly, her research is rooted in Intersectionality and Identity and seeks to document the experiences of marginalised individuals in the workplace through the framework of ‘Intersectional Identity Work’.
Ijenma U. Okwu
Ijenma U. Okwu graduated with a Second Class Honours, Upper Division from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She was a Merit Award Scholar of the University, for outstanding academic performance, awarded for the duration of her law course.She is also a Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) Scholar, which led to furthering her legal education at Cambridge University, England. She graduated with a Second Class Honours, Upper Division (LLMCantab). She has had a lengthy law career where she worked in Corporate Law and Finance, ending up as Company Secretary/ Legal Adviser before moving on to private practice and legal consultancy. She works currently as a lecturer in the Department of Private and Public law, Law Faculty of Baze University, FCT, Abuja. She is passionate about Consumer Protection and Consumer education. She also writes and speaks regularly on these and related issues.
Emmanuel Attah is a content manager, he has helped many businesses maximize the online space to grow at scale using his content marketing skills. He’s the head of a content creation company called CharacterMedia and the principal of Digital Skill School – a tech school in Lagos. He has authored 2 ICT books The first titled BITE THE INTERNET and the second titled SELLING ONLINE. Books geared towards helping anyone navigate the online space to build a business empire or career.
GLORY OGHENEOCHUKO ETADUOVIE
Glory O. Etaduovie is full-fledged Management professional cutting across various fields of the financial industry. His work carrier spans over thirty-seven years in the Insurance, Management, Marketing and Pension fields.
He holds an MBA in Marketing, ACII in Insurance alongside various courses in the course of working life, and acquired wide experience in Sales and Marketing, people Management skills, motivation and discipline; strategy development and implementation, crises and change management, process management and delayering; risk Management and compliance, corporate governance and management team interactions; budgeting and planning.
Dr. Mohammed Bala Liman
Dr. Mohammed Bala Liman is a public sector analyst, a critical thinker with strong political, policy and economic risk analysis skills. He has a Bachelors’ degree in Economics and an MBA from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He also has a Masters’ degree in Social Policy & Development from the London School of Economics (LSE) and a Doctorate in Politics from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London.
Dr. Liman has extensive experience in the public and private sectors where he developed a keen interest in the intersect between development and politics and the challenges that have made it difficult to achieve the desired national growth and development.
Dr. Liman is a keen commentator on social and economic issues and is a member of the Centre for African Studies, Royal Africa Society, Development Studies Association and International Association for Islamic Economics.
Ugochi NWABUWA holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Nnamdi Azikiwe University and a masters degree from University of Lagos. She has been in the banking and financial sector in a career spanning over 13years where she garnered knowledge and skills that have made her resourceful and a specialist in that field. She’s also a writer, a fashion enthusiast and music lover.
Jennifer is a PhD candidate in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Bristol.
She has a First-class degree in Information Technology and a Master’s degree in Geoinformatics from the University of Lagos. Her expertise lies in the intersection of technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
