When Joseph Edgar, The Duke of Shomolu, came to town and started brandishing Anonymous Nipples in our faces; my curious mind wondered how in the world he was going to sell openly.
In a near hypocritical society as ours, you’d have to put a fortune behind such sincerely profane book. I knew it would sell but it didn’t look a bit like what will even hit the 50 percent sales mark in 180 days, but somehow, The Duke is inching towards 100 percent in 30 days.
What did The Duke of Shomolu do to achieve this phenomenal sale with “Anonymous Nipples“?

In my opinion, Joseph Edgar broke all laws, he hit his target guerrilla-style with subtle erotica notes that show a clear understanding of the human mind.
The Duke, employed his understanding of the fact that the human mind is drivien by adventures and some level of secrecy. I am sure you would agree that if he had gone the route of a ceremonial book launch with the high and mighty, he probably would have sold a few; made some quick cash and a few promises that will never be kept here and there.
Edgar, chose WhatsApp of all places as his market place. He wrote broadcasts that any reader will swear was personalized for him/her or it. He gave hints without revealing; the hints were appetite wetting enough for an unknown “Nipple”. If he was using WhatsApp ads, I’d have felt differently about his results, but this Duke was just playing away with his circle of friends, sipping wine and buying Internet data.
The one on one also must have been really good because nearly 3 out 10 people he showed was sold. Could it be the personality of Joseph Edgar or The Duke that was actually selling?
Further probing revealed the man, not the crown was actually selling; for not many Kings will slide into people’s DMs to sell Anonymous Nipples.
Come to think of it, where else could have sold with abusing his title as The Duke of Shomolu? The best place obviously is in the inner recesses of our DMs.
I recall The Duke saying the target space had about 10,000 and catching just 10 percent of that would seal the deal, today he is fast on his way to delivering that number.
Anonymous Nipples is yet to fall into my waiting arms but the sales strategy employed has stuck with me the very moment the campaign started. This campaign, I dare say, cost zero kobo but a sound and daring mind with loads of creativity.
Joseph Edgar has knowingly or unknowingly shown that the right use of Public Relations principles can work magic.
If I get a chance to ask The Duke for anything, it would be an insight into his strategy for the sale of Anonymous Nipples.
