Everything was once an idea.
In our web-based world where things seem to change by the second, it is easy to trivialize this amazing truth.
Every product or service ever developed, every innovation ever executed, every piece of music ever composed, every work of art ever created, every accomplishment ever achieved…and even every human being ever born started as an idea.
Without ideas, there is…nothing.
But use ideas for the wrong purposes and all their enormous power is channeled from creative force to destructive energy – because every weapon of war ever built, every perverted ideology ever spread, and every act of wickedness ever committed…also began as an idea.
The attitude you display right now is the result of all the ideas you have come to believe.
Who taught you these ideas?
Who taught you that women cannot be leaders?
Who taught you that the color of a man’s skin determines his place in the world?
Who taught you that your life is defined by the box of circumstance into which you were born?
Part of the nature of ideas is that they can spread, but more critically, ideas can be spread deliberately, as an agenda…as a means of control.
Because a person’s life is basically the result of ideas he believes, to gain control over him all you need to do is to feed him an idea…repeatedly.
In time, his life will change in the direction of the idea you have led him to believe.
Whoever controls your thinking, controls your life: it’s so beautifully simple…and so exceptionally dangerous.
