I have seen various versions of that movie it reminds me of the constant & real tension between extremes. An oxymoron; sweet pain or perfect imperfections. Life is full of these seeming contradictions that somehow fuel our existence.
When I wrote 12 days ago on how to go on when you feel you can’t give more, little did I know God had a rainbow week ahead for me. Since that note, I have been strongly reminded of the range of possibilities in life. Reminded of infinite lows & highs in life. “Oya God I dey beg nor vex. Small play, You bring out the cane. “Na wao, someone can not play with You God? ” I am sorry biko. When do small pikin know? I am indeed grateful for my life. HE showed me depths I couldn’t imagine. ‘e do me like Nollywood movie’ I lost my mind, faith, dignity, hope, and more. The helplessness and rate at which it happened are indescribable. The pain was further compounded by the fate of my colleagues and loved ones dragged into this horror show and my inability to do anything about it. We are all still in a daze.I am blessed with good people around me, I am grateful and blessed to have them in my life. Yes not everyone is solid but those that are, they are Rockstars, and those that play Judas, I can only offer them scriptures as a pointer of their fate. I thought I had problems when I wrote that article, I saw a glimpse of what small discomfort is (not even a problem o) over the last 12 days or so. How did I survive, God sent angels to me in form of friends and colleagues. Some I just met and some I haven’t even met as I write this. Can you imagine the way God shows off!! My paparazzi God! They gave me a reason to keep fighting & looking for ways out & we found them together and form the valley God instantly took me to highs so giddy I am wondering whether it is the same me that was in the pit days before.
From Solarfi winning 2nd Prize in African Union Innovation challenge in Dubai to Koniku Series A closing exceeding our expectations & great names joining the Koniku board to completion of our factory acceptance test for our Brass Atlantic Refinery in Dubai ( see video) to acquiring a third Refinery in another West African Country (so we now have Duport, Atlantic and a 3rd one to be announced soon) to meeting with a Vice President and another President of two other West African countries seeking to partner with us to build modular Refineries in their country. See God o! From lows to highs all in 12 days. And he used people. Regular people. Everyday people. Why won’t I keep sowing and helping? The best asset to invest in is people, the return is geometric.
